Once upon a time in a land far far away, there was no internet.  There was no net-decking and the players of Magic were happy and creative.  The only type of deck-list you found was on someone’s private website, or the one in inquest or the Duelist.  These deck-lists were sometimes competitive, but often clever little joke/theme decks that had nothing to do with what we know as theme decks today would pop up.  They took a TV show, comic book, or home routine and found cards that seemed to relate.  They were often five colors and only played casually and not even well at that.  So without further ado, a deck in the classic style of “net-decking”

2 – Noxious Ghoul (ghosts and ghouls!)
1 – Sengir Vampire (Vampires are of course classic movie monsters, and ol’ Sengir is the most classic in MTG)
2 – Cyclopean Mummy
4 – Phyrexian Gremlins (Just don’t add water)
1 – Consumptive Goo (Beware of the BLOB!)
4 – Bloodied Ghost (pretty classic horror image)
4 – Zombie Mob (BRAINS!)
